The Canadian radio station CBC asked me to participate on a programme with Jane Goodall and Mark Jenkins on last week. Mark Jenkins is the fantastic writer who wrote the National Geographic cover piece on the Rugendo massacre and spent time with us in Virunga last year. Jane Goodall needs no introduction.
You can listen to it on the CBC website here, if you’re interested. You have to scroll to part three, and click on the audio tool.

Fabulous interview Emmanuel! You did a phenomenal job and provided some excellent information for people not familiar with the situation in the DRC. I also enjoyed the interview of Mark Jenkins and Dr. Goodall. I have heard the passion she has for conservation many times and although I have read your blog entries and never doubted your dedication to the gorillas, it was moving to hear that same passion in your voice for the rangers and the gorillas of the park. I urge everyone who cares about the rangers and gorillas of Virunga National Park to listen to this radio show. You will not be disappointed!
Indeed do not, really do not, miss listening to these fascinating interviews!
Let me second that opinion! Really first class informative and fascinating audio.
