Since 25 October 2008 we have raised $60,455 in online donations for the Virunga Appeal, from a total of 751 donors. That is an average of $80.50 per donation. I posted on 4 January about donations and uploaded receipts to show you how monies have been spent.
I will do this again in coming days… but I should like to thank you for your continued support.
Virunga is a World Heritage Site and we must all strive to protect it. This blog is one of the ways for us to build an international community of people who care about the Mountain Gorillas and the other wildlife in Virunga. I am proud to be a part of this.

Hello Emmanuel, it is wonderful that people from all over the world can contribute to the protection of the Virungas and the extraordinary work that all the various staff do there. I am in awe of not only the Mountain Gorillas but the brave people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. People working together can achieve a great deal. Brenton.
